Napa Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon

It is a robust yet elegant wine that captures your senses as it continues to evolve in the glass revealing layered complexity and "surprises" around each corner.  The nose is redolent with blue and black fruit that continue on to the palate as welcome notes of red berries and spice suddenly appear.  The tannins are sweet and structured to frame not only the rich mouthfeel but the elegant bright finish as well.

Chardonnay

The fruit for our Chardonnay was grown in the Oak Knoll District located near the southern end of Napa Valley.  Our combination of 50% whole cluster press, 30% barrel fermentation and 12 months in a combination of new and used French oak lends a true Burgundian character to the finished wine.  The palate is crisp yet subtle with lively acidity and notes of pear, apple, quince and citrus complementing dynamic minerality leading to a long clean finish.

Merlot

An underlying garnet tone accents the deep ruby color.  Red and black cherries act as the aromatic base of the nose with heavy accents of white pepper, current and just a hint of earthiness.  Black cherry flavors dominate the palate with rhubarb, red berries, Asian spice and minerality all combining to add a bit of zest.  The sweet tannins and elegance of the palate carry forward to a long polished finish bringing into focus the intense structure and elegant side of this noble grape.
